Heavy showers in Andamans again

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab and Himachal Pradesh during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in Telangana.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Kerala, at many places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripoura, sub-Himlayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar plateau, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu and south interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
