Showers in Andamans, Nagaland

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, hills of West Uttar Pradesh, plains of Uttar Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in Gangetic West Bengal.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Assam, Meghalaya, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Telangana, south interior Karnataka and Kerala, at a few places in Orissa, the Bihar plateau, Jammu and Kashmir, East Madhya Pradesh, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema, and at isolated places in Haryana, madhya Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu.

Very light rain also occurred at isolated places in Konkan and Goa, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep. Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
