Vajpayee finalises hectic travel schedule for next fortnightPrime Minister A B Vajpayee has finalised a schedule of his visits to different states and four countries during the coming fortnight. Tomorrow Vajpayee will leave for Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to visit the flood affected areas. The next day he will leave for Madhya Pradesh to inaugurate a new airport terminal at Raipur. Later, he will meet party leaders in the state, which is going for assembly polls later this year. He will return to the capital on August 20 evening. On August 21 Vajpayee will reach Jaipur to take part in the three-day national executive meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Here he will hold discussions with state BJP leaders which are considered significant, as Rajasthan also goes to assembly polls later this year. He will also address a public meeting at Jaipur. On August 28, the prime minister will leave for South Africa to attend the NAM summit at Durban. En route to Durban he will stay for a day in Oman and will then leave for Namibia. On August 30 he will proceed to Durban where he will hold bilateral talks with a large number of heads of state and government including Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharief. The prime minister will leave Durban for Mauritius on September 4 and will be back in Delhi on September five, an official spokesman said. UNI
