Wet spell in Bengal, Sikkim

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Bihar plains and active in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa and the plains of West Uttar Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in East Uttar Pradesh, Konkan, Goa and coastal Karnataka, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal and Madhya Pradesh, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar plateau, Haryana, Punjab, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and south interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Vidarbha and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Konkan and Goa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Jammu and Kashmir, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places over the rest of the country.
