Arunachal, Assam in for bad weather

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar plains, Uttar Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, North Konkan, Goa and north madhya Maharashtra during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been active in Assam, Meghalaya, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa.

Rain or thundershowers occured a most places in sub-Himalayan West Begngal, Sikkim, Vidarbha and coastal Karnataka, at many places in East Uttar Pradesh, madhya Maharashtra and Kerala, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Haryana, Punjab, West Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, Telangana and interior Karnataka, and at isolated places in Bihar plateau, plains of West Uttar Pradesh, East Rajasthan, coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, north madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Kerala and Lakshadweep, and at a few places over the rest of the country except Tamil Nadu, where it will be at isolated places.
