Wet spell in parts of Bengal, Orissa

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar plateau, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in Marathwada and active in Orissa, Konkan, Goa and madhya Maharashtra.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Gangetic West Bengal, at many places in East Uttar Pradesh, in the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, Vidarbha and Kerala, at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar plateau, in the plains of West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, north interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in Haryana, West Rajasthan, Rayalaseema and coastal Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan and Goa, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Bihar plateau, West Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, East Rajasthan, East Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and at a few places over the rest of the country.
