Wet spell to continue in Andamans

Heavy rains are likely to occur at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim during the next 48 hours.

The Southwest monsoon has been vigorous in East Uttar Pradesh, and active in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Vidarbha and Rayalaseema.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in Assam, Meghalaya, Konkan, Goa and Lakshadweep, at many places in Bihar plains and Telangana, at a few places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal, the Bihar plateau, the hills of West Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Karnataka and Kerala, and at isolated places in Orissa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Saurashtra, Kutch, madhya Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
