Andamans in for bad weather

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at most places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan and Goa, at many places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep, at a few places in Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra Marathwada, Vidarbha, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka, and at isolated plaves over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at most places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Konkan and Goa, at many places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, West Madhya Pradesh and coastal Karnataka, at a few places in Assam, Meghalaya, Orissa, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha and Kerala, and at isolated places in Gangetic West Bengal, West Uttar Pradesh, Saurashtra, Kutch, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalseema, Tamil Nadu and interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.
