21 massacred in Pak-occupied KashmirUnidentified gunmen slaughtered 21 people in a remote village in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, authorities said on Monday. Several gunmen roared into Bindala Samahani on Sunday, some 275 kilometres southeast of PoK capital Muzzafarabad, and massacred two families. Another three people were injured. The assailants escaped, officials said. The village straddles Pakistan's disputed border with India. Among the dead is a school teacher, identified as Zubair, his three young sons, daughter, wife, daughter-in-law and their three family friends who were visiting, according to officials. The culprits then went next door and killed the owner, his wife, their four sons, a daughter-in-law and three grand daughters. His eldest son was seriously injured. Before fleeing the village, the gunmen also killed two men they saw playing cards in a nearby shop. Another two men were wounded. UNI
