Two AP jail-break accused held in VirarTwo of the inmates who fled from a jail at Nizamabad, Andhra Pradesh, have been traced to Virar in Thane district. Disclosing this, Superintendent of Police Ashok Kamte said today that the police conducted a raid at Manvel Pada, Virar east, following a tip-off that some criminals were taking shelter there. During the raid, the two criminals were arrested and an offence registered against them with the Virar police. The names of the criminals have been given as Bansi Udya Bakya, 25, and Hirabhavsingh Badawat, 22. On March 29, at least 72 criminals had escaped from the Nizamabad jail after attacking the jail guards. They reportedly took shelter for a while at Nanded in Maharashtra. Later the criminals spread left for different destinations in Maharashtra, including the two arrested criminals who went to Virar. UNI
