Rain or snow likely in Jammu and Kashmir

Rain or snow is likely to occur at few places in the hills of west Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and at one or two places in Himachal Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, interior Karnataka and at one or two places in Andaman and Nicobar islands, Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in south Konkan, Goa, Kerala and in some parts of Tamil Nadu and were above normal in south coastal Orissa, east Uttar Pradesh, east Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and in the remaining parts of Tamil Nadu and in some parts of central Maharashtra. They were appreciably below normal in Assam, Meghalaya and in some parts of gangetic West Bengal and were below normal in Manipur, north-west Rajasthan, north Gujarat and in some parts of Haryana, Punjab and Telangana. They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and in the plains of west Uttar Pradesh.

Rain or thundershowers have occurred at almost all the places in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and at many places in Assam, Meghalaya and at a few places in sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, south interior Karnataka and at one or two places in gangetic West Bengal and Kerala. Very light rain also occurred at one or two places in Tamil Nadu.
