MLAs to get two water tankers

The Delhi government will make available at least two water tankers to each of the 70 legislators in the coming months to enable them to tide over any water crisis in their constituencies during the coming summer months.

Chief Minister Sahib Singh Verma said these tankers would be kept at the disposal of the legislators for supplying drinking water in their constituencies.

He said the number of water tankers meant for supplying drinking water at various places in the capital during summer months would be doubled. Previously 500 water tankers were kept for the purpose and now 500 more would be added.
