25 drowned, 125 missing in boat capsizeAt least 25 people were drowned when a country boat capsized in the Karen river in Bihar on Monday. One hundred and twentyfive others remain untraced. The incident occurred near Barahi Ghat under the Rosra sub- division of Samastipur district. Deputy Inspector General of Police (range) Ramesh Cathal said 23 bodies had so far been recovered. Divers have been deployed to bring out the remaining bodies. The victims, numbering about 150, were on their way to Baheri from Sivajinagar after witnessing the Ramnavami festival. Samastipur District Magistrate Javid Tubid and Police Superintendent M A Kazim were on the spot supervising rescue operations. UNI
