Joginder Tuteja introduces us to the ladies who have made an impression in the OTT universe.

Saiyami Kher
Choked (Netflix)
Special Ops (Disney+ Hotstar)

Saiyami's debut film Mirzya unfortunately flopped and her performance didn't reach out to the audience.

But Saiyami -- legendary actress Usha Kiran's grand-daughter and actress Tanvi Azmi's niece -- has made a comeback with Anurag Kashyap's Choked, where she is the best part of the film.

She was also seen in a dramatically different role in the Web series Special Ops, a show everyone is talking about.

 

Rinku Rajguru
Hunded (Disney+ Hotstar)

Rinku made a splash with her first Marathi film, the blockbuster Sairat.

She had to wait a while before making an impression on an all-India audience.

With her Web series Hundred, where she has an equal part to play along with Lara Dutta, the teenager has impressed audiences all over again.

The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati (ALT Balaji)
RejctX(ZEE5)

Kubbra impressed everyone as Cuckoo in Sacred Games.

Since then, she has become a regular on the OTT circuit with distinct roles in The Verdict - State Vs Nanavati, RejctX and Illegal.

 

Aahana Kumra
Betaal (Netflix)
Marzi (Voot Select)

After Lipstick Under My Burkha brought her the limelight, Aahana is active on OTT.

Inside Edge got her recognition, followed by Rangbaaz.

Currently, she plays two distinct characters in Marzi followed by the horror show, Betaal.

 

Mandana Karimi
The Casino (ZEE5)

When Mandana arrived in Bollywood, she did a few films in quick succession (Kya Kool Hain Hum 3, Roy, Bhaag Johnny, Main aur Charles). However, things slowed down for her thereafter.

Now the young woman plays a cabaret dancer in The Casino.

Chintu Ka Birthday (ZEE5)

First seen in Monsoon Wedding, Tillotama has featured in over 30 feature films and short films.

She played a Punjabi mother in Mentalhood.

Her latest release is Chintu Ka Birthday, where she plays a Bihari mother.

From being a beauty queen to an actress to an aspiring politician to a runner, biker and a pilot, Gul could well be the poster girl for the complete woman.

Now she is dabbling in the world of Web series and doing well for herself, playing a broker (Rangbaaz Phir Se), a housewife (Paatal Lok) and a spy (The Family Man).

Code M (ALT Balaji & ZEE5)

Jennifer has been a popular actress in television serials and though her feature film debut Phir Se released straight on the Web, her big moment happened with Code M where she played an army lawyer.

She impressed audiences with her confidence.

 

Paoli Dam

Paoli set the stage for the Hate Story movie franchise.

Currently, she is seen in the bilingual Web series Kaali in a fiery avatar.

Anupriya's first substantial role was in Ek Tha Tiger, where she played a nurse held hostage by terrorists.
