Directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, Iqbal about a deaf and dumb boy wanting to join the Indian cricket team. The film features newcomer Shreyas Talpade as Iqbal, and stars Naseeruddin Shah as the village drunk who believes in him. As the boy wants to become a fast bowler, his idol Kapil Dev cameos in the movie.
