So many Web series grabbed our attention this year.
Some were brilliant while in others, the performances made them a great watch.
In the second part of our special, Joginder Tuteja looks at the top Web shows this year.
Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors
Criminal Justice: Behind Closed Doors arrived amidst much hype and anticipation.
If the first season had created a good impression, the second season with Pankaj Tripathi and Anupriya Goenka reprising their parts was even more entertaining.
Like its writer Apurva Asrani said in an interview, the setting this time was more feminine, and saw some power-packed performances by Kirti Kulhari, Deepti Naval, Mita Vashisht and Shilpa Shukla.
Asur
When Arshad Warsi got on board Asur, a 'serial killer' thriller, it turned out to be a nail-biting affair.
The actor has proven his comic timing in his long career, so it was refreshing to see him excel in a role where he brought out another element of his talent.
Your Honour
Your Honour saw Jimmy Sheirgill as a judge, who went all out to save his son who was guilty of murder. The Web series marked (Shool) Director E Niwas's entry in the OTT arena.
Interspersed with twists and turns, this one was a good entertainer.
Hostages 2
The first season of Hostages had ended on a cliffhanger with Ronit Roy catching hold of the villain, played by Dalip Tahil.
The second season started from where the first left off.
This time, the hostage was the chief minister himself.
A fast-paced thriller with Divya Dutta as the woman in charge of the operation, this Sudhir Mishra created show was quite thrilling.
Abhay 2
Blood, gore, violence and brutality -- these were the elements that made Abhay stand tall.
The second season was a holds-no-bar approach, where Kunal Kemmu resumed his tough cop act.
Directed by Ken Ghosh, Abhay 2 saw Ram Kapoor adding drama to the show.
A Simple Murder
A popcorn entertainer with the right mix of humour, thrill, drama and chase, A Simple Murder turned out to be an easy watch.
Audiences were taken for a joyful ride starring Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sushant Singh, Priya Anand and Amit Sial.
Avrodh
Amit Sadh starred in as many as five projects this year, including Avrodh.
The Web series told the tale of India's surgical strike on Pakistan in some detail.
An action thriller, the series saw good performances from Vikram Gokhale, Neeraj Kabi and Madhurima Tuli.
Bicchoo Ka Khel
Ekta Kapoor is known for getting the pulse of the masses right, and she has proved that time and again with her telly soaps.
In collaboration with ZEE5, she produced Bicchoo Ka Khel, a crime series with drama, revenge and humour.
Starring Divyendu Sharma, the show arrived close on the heels of his other blockbuster series, Mirzapur 2.
High
Just when some film folk were accused of drugs consumption (all of which came to naught eventually), in came High which had its core premise of this menace being amongst the high fliers of society as well as the aam junta.
High, starring Akshay Oberoi, turned out to be a good thriller too.
Dark 7 White
There aren't many political thrillers made in the Indian cinema or on OTT.
When Dark 7 White arrived, all eyes were on it.
Sumeet Vyas played the chief minister elect who gets murdered.
As a suspense thriller, it kept one engaged.
