Every time a hero gets the opportunity to dump his fitting pair of denims or leather pants to breathe in the comforts of a soft lungi or cotton dhoti, he's quite happy to oblige.

And right now Shah Rukh Khan is responsible for trending the South Indian veshti with Rohit Shetty's upcoming entertainer, Chennai Express. What's more he's even shot a song called the Lungi Dance performed by Yo Yo Honey Singh that's got everyone's attention for all sort of reasons.

He's not the first one to sport the garment.
