Sensationalism sells. And the quickest way to grab attention is shock.

People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) is known to pull out all the stops with their animal rights propaganda by roping in supportive celebrities to model provocatively and promote their views.

The feisty star of films like Gangs of Wasseypur and Fukrey – Richa Chadda is the latest to join the PETA bandwagon with her sizzling mermaid act.

Fish are friends not food, she insists in the campaign, which aims to convert seafood gorgers into pure vegetarians. Are you convinced?

Before her quite a few Bollywood stars have forwarded similar sentiments.
