With Madhuri Dixit unveiling her own Madame Tussauds wax statue recently, the total head count of Bollywood stars at the famed museum has reached seven.
The Dhak Dhak girl has joined the exclusive club that includes Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
Draped in an embellished sari with the trademark smile plastered on the face, the statue looked strikingly similar to the actress as she posed next to it.
But have the artists always got it right?

Kareena Kapoor

Fashioned after her Mauja Hi Mauja look from Jab We Met, her statue was reminscent of her bubbly personality from the movie.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

While her second waxwork was installed in last October in the Blackpool branch of the museum, the first time (above) came in 2004 around the time her crossover film Bride & Prejudice was up for release.
Salman Khan

Salman Khan earned the distinction in 2008 and became the fourth Bollywood star after Amitabh, Aishwarya and Shah Rukh Khan to grace the Bollywood section in the museum.
The statue was dressed in a vest and sported a replica of his famous lucky charm -- a blue sapphire bracelet.
Hrithik Roshan

Our desi equivalent of a Greek god, Hrithik Roshan earned his own place at Madame Tussauds dressed as the sexy conman from Dhoom 2.
The idol was near perfection.
Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan became the first Asian to have his wax figure in the museum in 2000.
The statue sported his trademark french beard and a bandhgala.
Shah Rukh Khan

Shah Rukh Khan joined the ranks in April 2007, when he unveiled his statue at the museum.
The lope-sided smile and a velvet blazer made the wax figure as charming as the real SRK himself.
