Mr & Mrs Vivek Oberoi's grand party

After a grand wedding in Bangalore, newly weds Vivek Oberoi and Priyanka Alva hosted an equally grand  reception party in Mumbai on Sunday.

Vivek was dressed in dark velvet sherwani and Priyanka in a blue and green velvet lehenga.

Vivek's parents Suresh Oberoi and Yashodara get ready to welcome guests.

Suresh Oberoi, expressed his happiness by saying that he now had two daughters.

"I am feeling happy, I got one daughter married and I am getting another daughter. So, I have two daughters," he said.

Numerous celebrities from Bollywood like Shatrughan Sinha, Prem Chopra, Fardeen Khan, filmmakers Zoya Akhtar, Vishal Bhardwaj, Apoorva Lakhia and Prakash Jha attended the reception.

No surprise to see Ram Gopal Varma at the party. After all, Vivek had starred in most of his films the most recent being Rakht Charitra.

Meanwhile, Dia Mirza looked pretty as a picture.

Brother and sister duo Sajid and Farah Khan also put in an appearance.

Farah said, "I want to tell Vivek he's done a really good thing. Marriage is wonderful, and I think, his wife is really beautiful."

Besides the Bollywood presence, big wigs from the political sphere like senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader L K Advani, who came with his family, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, and Congress spokesperson Digvijay Singh were also spotted at the party.
