Only three huge firecrackers from the Tamil film industry release this Diwali. The biggest of them is Ajith's Aarambam directed by Vishnu Vardhan.

Film: Aarambam

Cast: Ajith, Nayanthara, Arya, Tapsee Pannu, Rana Daggubati, Mahesh Manjrekar, Atul Kulkarani

Director: Vishnu Vardhan

The last time Ajith and Vishnu Vardhan joined hands in Billa, it was a huge success. Naturally, expectations are high for Aarrambam.

The film set in Mumbai and has a huge star cast. It is a fact that no director can beat Vishnu Vardhan in style.

Cast: Karthi, Santhanam, Kajal Agarwal

Director: M Rajesh

Director Rajesh specialises in light-hearted comedies such as Siva Manassulla Sakthi, Boss Engiruntha Baskaran, and Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. All these comedies have been hits.

For the first time, he is directing Karthi, but Santhanam has been a constant in all his films. Rajesh says his film will be a 1000-wala firecracker!

Pandiya Naadu

Cast: Vishal, Lakshmi Menon, Bharatiraja

Director: Suseendran

Suseendran, who made his debut with Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, is known for his offbeat films.

Except for the disastrous Rajapattai he made with Vikram, all his films were praised by the critics.

We will have to wait and see how his association with a commercial hero like Vishal will turn out.
