Katie Holmes did not file for divorce from her husband of five years, Tom Cruise, because of his devout adherence to the Church of Scientology, so say sources close to the 50-year-old actor.

They believe that the 33-year-old actress and her team are leaking false stories to the media by maintaining she was trying to save Suri from the grips of Scientology, and that's why she left Tom.

'She [Katie] was totally committed to Scientology. She had enthusiasm for it and would voluntarily and gladly participate in it when Tom was off shooting movies,' the source told TMZ.

'This is not a fight over religion. It's being used as a way to hurt Tom,' the source added.

Teen pop star Justin Bieber and girlfriend Selena Gomez have reportedly broken up multiple times in the last few months.

The duo apparently decided to end their relationship last week but have since rekindled and are giving their relationship another try, TMZ reported quoting sources.

Bieber and Gomez's current situation is tenuous and that they are not a 'solid' couple, according to sources.

Gomez, 19 and Bieber, 18, have been dating for around a year and a half. Disney actress Gomez has maintained her squeaky clean image but the Baby hitmaker was involved in a fight with a photographer.

People magazine quoted a source saying that Gomez 'was crying about Justin and was upset' during Ashley Tisdale's birthday bash last week.

The couple is yet to address break-up rumours.

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian says she is convinced her relationship with rapper Kanye West will stand the test of time.

The 31-year-old socialite went public with her new love earlier this year, following her split from sportsman husband Kris Humphries shortly after their wedding last summer.

Kardashian has been friends with the rapper for several years and she said that their strong connection provides a solid base for romance, reported InStyle magazine online.

'We know what we are to each other. We've had a deep friendship for so long and that's the start of a really good relationship,' she said.

Kardashian also dismissed rumours that West has been writing about their romance in his songs.

'People can interpret it however they want. That's him making music. I don't even know it's about me,' she added.
