Wondering where Kannada teen sensation Amoolya disappeared after Premism and Nannu Nanna Kanasu?
Well, the actress is on a break to write her exams. She will be back to wrap up her brother Deepak's maiden directorial venture Manasology.
Like her previous release, Nannu Nanna Kanasu, Manasology also revolves around a father-daughter relationship. "In Kanasu..., you saw the father being protective and responsible for his daughter; here it's vice versa," says Deepak.
In Manasology, Achyut Rao plays her father. Prakash Raj had played her dad in Kanasu.
The film is based on a true story. It draws inspiration from the life of a girl Deepak had met while working on Love Guru.
Deepak also says that Amoolya's character in the film is a lot like the real her. "It's the Amoolya you'll see at home. The character is very dignified. The film is set out to establish what true love is. Unpredictable twists and turns are abundant in the script," he adds.
And does having his sister as the heroine in his first film ease the pressure? "She was the first person I narrated my script to. Her acceptance boosted my confidence. Having said that, on the sets we don't behave like siblings. It's not even like she gets the dialogues 15 days earlier. But what helps is that she is a thorough professional," said Deepak.Teen sensation Amoolya is back

Anoop Seelin, who had created quite a stir with his numbers from Yaksha and Eddelu Manjunatha, composes the music. There are six songs in the film and local singers have sung all of them. A folk singer Ravindra Sulgavi has also been given a chance in the film.
"There is a rap song in which both English and Kannada have been used. We have also used a Qawali number," says Deepak.
The film is shot in Mysore, Bangalore, Bidar and Madikeri. While the music launch is scheduled for Ugadi (April), the film is expected to release in May or June.
