Telugu actress Taapsee goes places

Actress Taapsee Pannu is certainly going places. She has spread her wings to different film industries in a short span of time.

She made her debut in Telugu cinema with Jhummandi Naadam. Later, she made her Tamil debut with Adukalam, starring Dhanush.

She has also shared screen space with Mammootty and Nadia Moidu in the Malayalam film Doubles.

Taapsee has two more Telugu releases coming up: Mr Perfect (with Prabhas) and Veera (with Ravi Reja).

After this, she will work in Bollywood, in David Dhawan's remake of Chashme Baddoor.

Audio release functions are usually mundane events. But the team of Nenu Naa Rakshasi decided to do it differently. There was a lively interaction between the MC Jhansi and those associated with the film.

Those who engaged in this fun-filled and even whacky conversation included director Puri Jagannadh, and the rest of the team: Rana Daggubati, Ileana, Venkatesh, Nallamallapu Srinivas, V V Vinayak, Sekhar Kammula, Nandini Reddy, Ravi Teja, Gopichand, Ram, Ali, Sunil, Sushanth, Subbaraju, Lakshmi Manchu, Richa Gangopadhyaya and the technical crew.

The TSR TV-9 Film Awards instituted by T Subbarami Reddy under the aegis of the T Subbarami Reddy Lalithakala Parishath were given away at a grand gala ceremony on April 10 at Shilpakala Vedika in Hyderabad. This is the first time the awards are being given since the establishment of the Parishath for the promotion of art and culture in Andhra Pradesh.

Some of the awardees included Akkineni Nageswara Rao (Star of India), D Rama Naidu (Star Producer), Dharmendra (Bollywood Evergreen Hero), Shatrughan Sinha (Bollywood Dynamic Star),  Mohan Babu (Outstanding Actor), Dasari Narayan Rao (Star Director), Chiranjeevi (Star of Millennium), Krishnam Raju (Rebel hero), Vijayashanti (Silver Screen Empress), Nandamuri Balakrishna (Best Actor), Brahmanandam (Best Comedian), Priyamani (Best Actress), Ravi Teja (Sensational Artiste), Prakash Raj (Best Character Actor), Meena and Bhumika (Special Jury Awards), Samantha (Best Heroine). 

Subhash Ghai, Juhi Chawla, Jayasudha, Jayapradha, Sai Kumar, Manoj, Rana and Taapsee also received awards on this occasion.
