Swati Reddy, who shot into stardom as the heroine of Subramaniapuram, is all excited about her maiden film in Malayalam called Amen.
Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Amen has Fahadh Faasil and Indrajith playing the lead roles.
Swati plays Sosanna, who hails from a Christian household and is part of a church choir.
"I am impressed by the kind of films that are coming out in Malayalam. It is heartening that the Malayali viewers are accepting such experiments and it is great to be part of the industry. Yes, I would like to do more films in Malayalam if good offers come to me," says Swati.Narain replaces Kunchacko Boban
Actor Kunchacko Boban has opted out of the ongoing project Kammath & Kammath citing date hassles. Now, his role will be played by Narain, who seems to be a regular replacement for Kunchacko.
In Lal Jose' Classmates, it was Kunchacko who was penciled in to play the role eventually played by Narain.
Even in the recently released Ayalum Njanum Thammil, Kunchacko was to play Prithviraj's friend, the character that later went to Narain.
According to rumours, Kunchacko is riding high after several hits during recent times and he was hesitant to play the role in Kammath & Kammath, which had shades of grey.
Mammootty and Dileep play the heroes in the film.
