After Passenger, it is Arjunan Saakshi

Ranjith Sankar, who shot to fame with his debut film Passenger, is all set to start his new one, Arjunan Saakshi. The shooting of the film will start on October 20.

Prithviraj plays an architect. The rest of the cast includes Padmapriya, Jagathy Sreekumar, Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Lalu Alex and Anoop Menon.

Arjunan Saakshi is being produced by SRT Films. Ajayan Vincent is the cinematographer.

Passenger has won many awards for Ranjith, including the first Lohithadas Puraskaram for its screenplay, recently.

Atlas Ramachandran turns director

Dr M M Ramachandran is known as the face of Atlas Jewellery and as the producer of the classic film, Vyshali by the late Bharathan. He had also acted in films like Arabikkatha and 2 Harihar Nagar.

Now he turns director with Holidays, a murder mystery starring Vinu Mohan, Muktha, Rajat Menon, Priya Lal and Biyon.

The shooting of the film is currently going on in Kochi.

 

Asif and Nishan come together yet again

They formed a great pair in Shyamaprasad's Rithu and again in the recent hit, Apoorvaragam, directed by Siby Malayil.

Now, Asif Ali and Nishaan are teaming up once again in debutant director Rajesh Kannankara's Ithu Nammude Katha.

The shooting of the film is going on in Kottayam.

Ananya of Nadodigal fame is playing the heroine in the film.

Asif Ali has also been noted in Sathyan Anthikkad's Kadha Thudarunnu and will soon be shooting for Rajesh Pillai's Traffic.

Nishan has completed shooting for a film titled Not Out.
