Shabana Azmi turns 62!

National Award winning actress Shabana Azmi turned 62 today, and Bollywood stars tweeted in their birthday wishes.

Shekhar Kapur ‏tweeted: 'a very happy birthday, Shabana. Lots of love and may you continue to be amazing.'

Rahul Bose ‏wrote: 'and a massive happy birthday to @AzmiShabana . you remain an inspiration.'

Shabana in turn thanked everyone for the wishes: 'So early in the morning and sooooo many birthday wishes already..thanku all from the bottom of my heart.'

Thirteen years ago, Anurag Kashyap was asked to write a script for Amitabh Bachchan, as he was impressed by Kashyap's work in Satya. He wrote a script where Amitabh had a grey character. Things didn't work out, and the film fell through.

Since then, their has been a cold war between the two, until recently when Amitabh praised the director for his brilliant Gangs of Wasseypur.

They have now sorted out their differences, and Kashyap is keen on making a film with Amitabh.

'Finally met Big B after 13 years of silence and angst and sorted everything. Now to make a film with him someday. Dream come true and for the record @SrBachchan didn't approach me. I did,' he tweeted.
