PIX: Tom Cruise, Anil Kapoor at MI 4 Dubai premiere

After his much talked about India visit to promote his latest Mission Impossible film and a round of socialising with Bollywood's who's who, Tom Cruise made a stopover in Dubai for the film's premiere with the cast and crew of the film.

He was joined by Anil Kapoor, who plays a cameo in the film, director Brad Bird, actress Paula Patton and actor Simon Pegg.

The actor arrived on the red carpet in a formal suit unlike his outfit for the film's India premiere, where he chose to go in casuals -- a pair of denims and a light blue shirt -- while all the other attendees had turned up in formal clothes.

Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol premiered during day one of the 8th Annual Dubai International Film Festival held at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex on December 7 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Anil Kapoor may have snagged just a wee bit of a role in the film but the actor is sure going places. He's reportedly landed another Hollywood project where he plays the lead along side Clive Owen.

Kapoor arrived for MI 4 premiere, looking dapper in a suit.

Actress Paula Patton, who floored admirers with her orange-hued Michael Kors gown at the Mumbai premiere of the film, chose a red strapless coral gown for the Dubai premiere.

The crew is all set to hit Moscow with future stops exected in Mexico and Brazil for the film's promotions.

The Hollywood A-lister mingled with fans and posed for pictures as he arrived on the red carpet.

Upon his arrival in India, the actor had expressed his desire to visit the country again.

The actor cut a cute picture as he posed with some of his traditionally-dressed young fans who were also guests at the do.

The UAE desert serves as a prominent backdrop for many sequences in the film and so does the famed Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, from which Tom Cruise is seen hanging in one sequence.

British actor Simon Pegg of Shaun Of The Dead fame, plays a character named Benji Dunn in the film.

He was clicked signing autographs at the do.
