PIX: Stars attend Saif-Kareena sangeet ceremony

The wedding celebrations for Saif Ali Khan and his lady love Kareena Kapoor started off with a grand sangeet ceremony on Sunday, October 14.

Held at Kareena's residence in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, the ceremony was attended by the couple's close friends from the industry and family members.

Dressed in an orange and gold lehenga, a radiant Kareena Kapoor made her way to the venue.

The bridegroom-to-be Saif Ali Khan looked dapper in an all-white outfit.

His daughter Sara Ali Khan, who recently made her first official public appearance at the Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla show a while ago, was also present at the do.

Saif's actress sister Soha Ali Khan was escorted by beau Kunal Khemmu.

Their jewellery designer sister Saba Ali Khan was also spotted at the ceremony.

One of Kareena's closest friends from the industry, Amrita Arora Ladak, who's pregnant with her second child, arrived with businessman husband Shakeel Ladak.

Kareena was one of Amrita's bridesmaids at her wedding in 2009.

Filmmaker and the couple's good friend Karan Johar chose to go desi.

Filmmaker Homi Adajania, who directed Saif Ali Khan's Being Cyrus and his latest big hit Cocktail, was also present.

Kareena's aunt Neetu Kapoor was spotted at the venue.

Sanjay Kapoor attended the ceremony with his wife Maheep, who was dressed in a lovely anarkali.

Kareena's favourite fashion designer and a close friend, Manish Malhotra, who is also designing her trousseau, wore eye-popping suede shoes.

Actor Tusshar Kapoor, Kareena's costar in films like Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai and Jeena Sirf Mere Liye, was one of the guests at the ceremony.

Kareena's aunt Reema Jain arrived for the do with son Armaan.
