Angered by the heinous gang rape of a young Mumbai girl that shook the entire nation, actress Sonam Kapoor joined protesters at Jogger's Park on August 25 in Bandra, a western Mumbai suburb, to demand for justice.
Sonam had earlier sent out a tweet to her followers, "Lets fight back! Be there at joggers park, bandra today at 5pm to protest against the brutality towards women. Ill be there to support it!'

Actors Dalip Tahil (wearing sunglasses), Teejay Siddhu and Karanvir Bohra (foreground) were also a part of the protest.
One of the most vocal supporter of social causes on the micro-blogging website, Sonam had posted on August 22, "I'm really shocked and taken aback with the recent shameful incident that took place in Mumbai yesterday. A sheer act of cowardice."
