PIX: Chiranjeevi's son Ram Charan to get engaged

Chiranjeevi's son -- Telugu actor Ram Charan Teja -- will get engaged to Upasana Kamineni in an intimate ceremony tonight.

Before the ceremony, which will take place at the Kamineni's farm house in Hyderabad in the presence of the couple's parents and a select few invited guests, the families performed a special pooja in a temple, in the premises of the Jubilee Hills Apollo Hospitals, as is the tradition of the Kamineni Family.

The alliance brings together two of the most illustrious families from Andhra Pradesh. With megastar Chiranjeevi, uncles Pavan Kalyan and Nagababu and the groom Ram Charan, himself a reigning star, with yet another star in nephew Allu Arjun, the Konidela family is already star studded.

The Reddy and Kamineni families are equally celebrated -- Dr PC Reddy is the doyen and founder, chairman of Apollo hospitals and grandfather of the bride Upasna, and parents Anil and Shobhana Kamineni.

While Ram Charan Teja is a reigning star in films himself and is the son of celebrated actor Chiranjeevi.

There's a lot of speculation during rounds related to the details of the wedding.

The two families look on as the ceremony progresses.

This alliance will see the coming together of two of Andhra Pradesh's most illustrious families.
