Ajay Devgn spent an eventful birthday on the sets of his film, Son Of Sardaar, in Patiala, Punjab, on April 2.
Ashwini Dhir (centre), who had directed Devgn in an earlier hit Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge, will direct the actor here again.
Son Of Sardar also stars Devgan's sister-inn-law Tanishaa (left).

Ajay, who usually doesn't celebrate his birthday in public, was in for a surprise, as the cake was arranged by his fan club.
His fans had arranged a three-layered cake and brought it the sets by getting in touch with a close associate of Devgn.

Before the cake-cutting session on the sets of his film, Devgn visited the Kali Mandir and a local gurudwara in Patiala.
