The 64th Emmy Awards held at Nokia thetare, Los Angeles on September 23 saw a host of new winners and A-list hollywood stars as they dazzled the red carpet in their couture gowns.
Modern Family's Sofia Vergara was a huge hit on the red carpet in her sensational Zuhair Murad gown.
It was a huge night for the show too as it continued its winning streak at the awards with three awards.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Aaron Paul

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus won the Emmy for Best Actress in a comedy series for her show Veep while Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul was judged the Best Supporting actor in a drama series.
Downton Abbey's Maggie Smith, who wasn't present to receive her award was Best Supporting Actress in a drama series.

Modern Family stars Julie Bowen and Eric Stonestreet pose with their trophies. While Bowen won the Best Supporting Actress in a comedy series, Stonestreet won in the Best Supporting Actor category.
The series also won the Best Comedy Series award and Best Director award for it's maker Steven Levitan.

Homeland dethrones Mad Men as Best Drama Series

Homeland emerged as the new winner in the Drama Series category, ending Mad Men's winning streak. It was also awarded the Best Drama series nod.
