PIX: Meet Akshay Kumar's HOT new costar

Akshay Kumar's home production Oh My God in which he plays God, marks the Bollywood debut of popular Kannada actress Nidhi Subbaiah.

The 25-year-old hottie is also set to star in Jackky Bhagnani starrer Ajab Gazzab Love that is set to hit theatres at the end of October.

A civil engineer by qualification, Subbaiah was born in Coorg, Karnataka.

Her academic aspirations were put on the backburner when she started gettign modelling offers.

The actress is an only child and has done several television commercials.

Her Fair & Lovely ad led her to her first acting assignment.

The former model is quite active on social networking websites Twitter and Facebook.

With over 9,000 followers on the microblogging website, she interacts with her fans and shares her movies' updates.

She acting career started with 2009 Kannada film Abhimaani. The film didn't do well at the box office.

She's worked in nine Kannada films so far.

An only child, Subbaiah spent seven years on a farm. 

While in college, she actively took part in fests and fahsion shows.

The actress is also a trained sail and has won two gold medals at national-level competitions.

She describes herself as a voracious reader and wants to earn enough money to open a sailing club.

The actress, along with costar Jackky Bhagnani, kickstarted the promotions of Ajab Gazabb Love a while ago and recently released a song from the film.

Subbaiah sang for her Kannada film Panchrangi and is interested in playback singing.

Apart from Oh My God and Ajab Gazabb Love, her Kannda film Vara is also under post-production at the moment.
