Bollywood is not done with 2010 yet

It's been an interesting year so far. While viewers lapped up slow-budget films like Ishqiya, Peepli [Live], Udaan and Love Sex Aur Dhoka, star power reigned supreme with the success of films like Robot, Raajneeti and Dabangg.

2010 may be on its last leg but Bollywood still has quite a few major movies lined up for release.

Here's a look at the leftover biggies to hit the marquee in the coming weeks.

Following the back-to-back success of this screwball franchise, the Golmaal team is back in hopes of a hattrick.

Rohit Shetty's bright-coloured slapstick, despite its hare-brained plot and dumb jokes, works purely thanks to the antics
of its goofy supporting cast.

In the latest edition, featuring  Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor along with the regulars, Shetty sets the tomfoolery against the backdrop of an oddball, dysfunctional family.

What happens when a desperate son goes back in time, the psychedelic seventies to be precise, to fix the angry equation between his forever warring parents by making them fall all over again?

It's Action Replayy, says director Vipul Amrutlal Shah. The man concocts an engaging 70s-themed premise, inspired by a Gujarati play, which along with the vibrant chemistry between Akshay Kumar (in geeky mode) and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (as a hot-headed spice girl) and their ensuing tu tu-main main packs in great promise. 

The Sea Inside? The Prestige? Or both? Buzz is Sanjay Leela Bhansali's latest magnum opus takes inspiration --paraplegia, euthanasia, magic -- from the afore-mentioned films.

Whether that's true or not, Guzaarish with its grandly-lit frames, serene soundtrack and Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's combined magnetism has already generated tremendous curiosity among moviegoers irrespective of the abysmal fate of Bhansali's previous offering, Saawariya.

Modern relationships are fast becoming a popular topic for Bollywood rom-coms to muse about. And Danish Aslam's directorial debut for the Kunal Kohli's produced Break Ke Baad is just that.

on-off couple in this coming-of-age fluff about love, life and learning lessons.

After Ashutosh Gowariker's failed attempt at comedy, What's Your Raashee?, the acclaimed filmmaker returns with another thought-provoking period drama about 64 young revolutionaries taking on the British in Pre-independence India. 

Set in undivided Bengal, the big-screen adaptation of Manini Chatterjee's novel, DO and DIE: The Chittagong Uprising 1930 -- 34 stars Abhishek Bachchan and Deepika Padukone together with a young, enthusiastic team of upcoming actors.

If the spirit of Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is anything like its thrilling title track, Gowariker has a winner on his hands.

With hits like No Entry, Welcome and Singh is Kinng under his belt, director Anees Bazmee has every reason to exhibit his love for frolic at its absurd best, which, more or less, sums up his latest, No Problem.

Yet another mult-starrer, the comic caper stars a fun cast of Sanjay Dutt, Anil Kapoor, Akshaye Khanna, Paresh Rawal, Suniel Shetty, Sushmita Sen and Kangna Ranaut going all out in this unapologetically silly enterprise of gag-by-the-second.

Show-woman Farah Khan is back with yet another masala-packed entertainer only this time without Shah Rukh Khan.

Instead she ropes in Akshay Kumar to slip in the titular avatar of Tees Maar Khan, a super suave con man riding high on skill, stunts and style.

Sounds tailor-made for Akki, does it not? Plus, it reunites him with lucky co-star, Katrina Kaif.

If Kat is expected to ooze oomph with her much-hyped item ditty, Akki's hoping to prove he's still the best Khiladi in the business.
