The trailer of Anurag Basu's latest film Barfi! is out, and it looks quite promising.
While we have seen Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra on our screens before, south actress Ileana will make her debut in the Hindi cinema with this film.

Ileana was born in Mumbai, but later the family shifted to Goa and lived there for seven years.
She has three siblings, including sisters Farah and Eileen, and brother Rhys.

Ileana's mother worked in a reputed hotel in Goa. The manager of the hotel suggested that Ileana try her hand at modeling, and fixed an appointment for her with former model Marc Robinson.
Ileana started doing photoshoots and ramp shows, and those got her three ads for Electrolux, Emami Talc and Fair and Lovely.

Ileana started her acting career with the Telugu film Devadasu (2006), which was a huge hit. It was followed by another big hit Pokiri (2006).
She debuted in Tamil cinema with Kedi (2006), which bombed at the box office.

In 2012, she acted in her second Tamil film Nanban opposite Vijay. The film was a remake of the Hindi blockbuster 3 Idiots, and Ileana reprised the role played by Kareena Kapoor. It was a huge success.

While Ileana is expected to shine in Barfi!, her hottest role till date will be in Puri Jagannadh's Telugu film, Devudu Chesina Manushulu, where she plays a taxi driver.

Talking about working in her first Hindi film, Ileana said at the trailer launch: "It's been surreal and amazing. Amidst all the chaos and hard work, it was emotional and fun as well. Anurag is one of the best directors I have worked with. He has got one of the most honest performances from me."

When Ileana was asked about the kissing scene between Ranbir and her in the film, she said, "It wasn't the kiss that I was nervous about, it's the emotion behind the kiss, which was the key element in the scene. The kiss came out pretty well."
