Jennifer Aniston: My 30s blew but 40s are great!

Jennifer Aniston, who seems to have found the confidence to show off her figure at every opportunity, has admitted that her new attitude has come from being in her 40s.

The 43-year-old actress is seen displaying her taut and toned figure in little more than a black bra and miniskirt as she poses in a saucy new shoot for America's GQ magazine.

'Forty's great! Oh, my God, my thirties blew! Forties are great,' the Daily Mail quoted her as saying.

She also revealed in the interview that she has put on some weight after quitting smoking. However, the actress' claims are somewhat hard to believe, judging by her sexy shots.

'Well, I recently quit smoking, and you do put on some extra pounds! It makes a difference, especially if you're not 20,' she said.

Aniston is joined in the shoot by her Wanderlust co-star Paul Rudd, who is seen playfully panting while the actress pretends to pull him by his tie.

Adele, who recently won six awards at the Grammys, has revealed that she plans to take a five-year break to focus on her relationship.

After her Grammy triumph, The Rolling in the Deep hitmaker wants to focus on spending time with new beau Simon Konecki because when she had prioritised her career in the past it has led to heartbreak.

'I am fing off for four or five years. If I am constantly working, my relationships fail,' the Daily Mail quoted the singer as telling Vogue Magazine. 'So at least now I can have enough time to write a happy record. And be in love and be happy. And then I don't know what I'll do. Get married. Have some kids. Plant a nice vegetable patch.'

The 23-year-old singer said that she is 'wifey material' because she likes to cook, laugh and enjoys sex, but she was also honest about her shortcomings.

'I love a bit of drama. That's a bad thing. I can flip really quickly. I am not bipolar, but I go from, 'Oh, my God, I love you' to, 'Get the fk out of my house!' really quickly. And I never sit there and talk about it. I give them the silent treatment.

'They're like, 'Tell me what I've done so I can say sorry!' What else? It used to be that I loved a drink a bit too much. But I don't drink no more.

'The good things: I am attentive. I will do anything for my man. I am a good cook. I'm funny. Always want to have sex -- Well, most girls don't!' she said.

The Adele that people know through her music is sombre, but she said that she is actually quite upbeat and optimistic, refusing to let fans hear her sad side anymore. I'm never writing a breakup record again, by the way. I'm done with being a bitter witch,' she said.

Even though she plans to shut her past, she is also at a point where she does not necessarily forgive the ex who inspired 21, but she acknowledges that she is grateful for the experience she had with him.

'He was amazing. He was great. But it was never going to work. And for ages, I was like, 'As if he deserves any kudos for inspiring my record.'

'But now, after some time, it only seems right that the person who so far has had the biggest impact on me -- has now changed my life for f ever with this album -- deserves a little credit.

'I think I'd still be that little girl I was when I was 18... I now know what I want for myself and from someone else. I didn't know what I wanted before,' she said.

Uggie, the dog has won the pooch equivalent of an Oscar, at the first ever 'Golden Collar Awards', recognizing 'canine excellence' in films.

The Jack Russell stole the show from stars Jean Dujardin and Berenice Bejo in silent film The Artist.

The veteran performer beat out Cosmo from Beginners, Denver from 50/50, Hummer from Young Adult, and the Doberman, Blackie, from Martin Scorsese's Hugo.

Uggie was also nominated for his role in Water for Elephants.

Uggie's trainer Omar von Muller accepted the award, a collar decked with Swarovski crystals and a bone-shaped pendant and thanked the Dog News Daily website, which sponsored the awards.

'This is very important for all the trainers in the movie industry, because we have never been recognized before, and people just don't understand that it takes hundreds and even thousands of hours to train a dog,' the Sun quoted him as saying.

He then paid tribute to Uggie as his buddy forever.

'He's a great performer but at the same time he's a great family member, he sleeps with us, and he's getting kind of old and it's overwhelming,' he said.

Uggie, 10, has had a long career in film and television and retired following The Artist, for which he was also given the 'Palm Dog' at the Cannes film festival, a prize echoing its top film honor, the Palm d'Or.
