Jason Statham, Tom Hardy: Britain's MANLIEST stars!

Take a look at the five celebrities the English think are the hunkiest of all.

Forty seven-year-old former swimming champion and action star Jason Statham has been named the manliest star in Britain through a national vote.

Beating worthy contenders, the star of hits like the Transporter franchise and Expendables 3, Statham earned an impressive 24 per cent of the votes.

2. Ray Winstone

Veteran actor Ray Winstone, 57, largely known for his 'tough guy' roles like in his 1979 film Scum and television show Robin of Sherwood, took up the second spot.

He raked in 18 per cent of the votes.

3. Tom Hardy

The Dark Knight Rises super villain Tom Hardy, 36, rounds off the top three with 10 per cent of the votes in his favour.

7. Danny Dyer

English actor Danny Dyer, 37, finds himself quite high up in this list with five per cent of the votes and the seventh spot.

8. Billy Connelly
