Mariah Carey took to Twitter to encourage followers to make their way to the polling station to cast their votes in the US Presidential elections on Tuesday, and turned the booth into her own personal photoshoot as she clicked pictures.
'Pon de line, ooooh it's early! Haaaaa,' she tweeted, adding: 'Let your vote be heard!! Four more years!"
The singer has made it clear that she is supporting Barack Obama in the elections, even turning up to support First Lady Michelle at a rally in North Caroline on November 5.

Katy Perry, who is also a dedicated Obama fan and has worked tirelessly to drum up support for him, posed in the booth with her red, white and blue nails, and Democrat blue suit.
She has been touring the country on the President's behalf performing at a series of fundraisers.

Amongst the younger generation, Miley Cyrus was voting for the first time, having turned 18 since the last election.
She posted a picture on her Twitter page showing her and a friend with their voting stickers on their face.
