It's official. Scarlett Johansson and Sean Penn have split.
Speculation regarding tension between the pair began after Johansson did not attend the Cannes Film Festival with Penn for his movie The Tree of Life, reports People mag.
Johansson, 26, and Penn, 50, made headlines when they took a whirlwind trip to Cabo San Lucas after being spotted getting flirty together during a lunch date in Los Angeles.
The pair's representatives have declined to comment on the reason behind the split.
Cameron Diaz and A-Rod call it quits too

Just a month after she officially announced her relationship with Alex Rodriguez, it has emerged that Cameron Diaz has broken up with the baseball player.
The couple was first linked in early 2010 although Diaz did not officially admit to the on-off relationship until May this year.
'Yes, Alex is my boyfriend, it's not a secret any more,' the actress told UK Elle magazine last month.
However, celebrity blogger Perez Hilton has reported on his website Fitperez.com that the relationship has now come to an end.
'They've broken up. [Cameron is] hurt and betrayed, because she tried so hard to please him,' the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Hilton as saying.
Olivia Wilde clears air about dating rumours

It has emerged that the newly single actress Olivia Wilde is not dating Bradley Cooper. The star has dismissed rumours doing the rounds.
The speculation started after Wilde and Cooper were spotted together at an after-party for the premiere of The Hangover Part II in New York last month.
'They're definitely hooking up,' a source had told Us magazine at that time.
However, clearing the doubts regarding her link-up, Wilde's representative told GossipCop.com that the two stars are 'friends only'.
Wilde further dispelled the dating speculations on Twitter by writing, 'I think Us Weekly has the same sources who promised us WMDs (weapons of mass destruction) in Iraq," reports Contactmusic.
Pink gives birth to baby girl

American pop star Pink has tweeted that she and her husband Carey Hart are now proud parents of a baby girl.
'We are ecstatic to welcome our new beautiful healthy happy baby girl, Willow Sage Hart. She's gorgeous, just like her daddy,' the Sydney Morning Herald quoted Pink as tweeting on Thursday.
It is the first child for Pink and her husband of five years, motocross star Carey Hart.
Justin Timberlake swears off nude scenes

The Social Network star bares all with Mila Kunis in new film Friends With Benefits, but he doesn't plan on ever repeating the experience.
He tells Vanity Fair, 'It was fun, but I can't say I'm going to be butt-naked in a movie again. I only did it because I'm young now, and everything's where it's supposed to be. I figured this is the time, before gravity gets the best of me.'
Friends With Benefits is set to hit US theatres on July 22.
