Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has banned pop singer Madonna from his new television series.

Morgan, 45, who has confirmed he will be taking over Larry King's US talk show next year, has already given bosses a list of stars he refuses to grill.

Madonna, 52, has been placed at the top of the list after Morgan criticised her charity work as a publicity stunt.

Morgan's close pal and co-judge Amanda Holden, 39, revealed his secret plan to take over the chat show world.

'He'll be interviewing some of the biggest names in the world,' the Daily Star quoted her as saying.

'He told me he'd love to have President Obama as his first guest and definitely doesn't want Madonna. They're not exactly best friends!' she added.
