Bad news for fans of Two and a Half Men sitcom.
Warner Bros has cancelled the show citing the behaviour and remarks of series star Charlie Sheen.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the move comes after Sheen ranted about the show's creator Chuck Lorre in a radio podcast.
Sheen said of Lorre on the Alex Jones Show: 'I embarrassed him in front of his children and the world by healing at a pace that this un-evolved mind cannot process. I've spent, I think, close to the last decade I don't know effortlessly and magically converted your tin can into pure gold. And the gratitude I get is this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.'
Hours after the actor's rant, CBS and Warner Brost issued this joint statement cancelling the show: "Based on the totality of Charlie Sheen's statements, conduct and condition, CBS and Warner Bros. Television have decided to discontinue production of Two and a Half Men for the remainder of the season."
As for Sheen's response to the show's cancellation, this was what he said in an open letter to the show which was printed by TMZ: "What does this say about Haim Levine (Chuck Lorrel) after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me."
"I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows ... I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can't handle my power and can't handle the truth."
"I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words -- imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists."
Production on Two and a Half Men was put on hold by network CBS after Sheen's hospitalisation in January. The troubled actor was rushed to hospital with severe stomach pains after allegedly partying for 36 hours straight during which time Sheen had a "briefcase full of cocaine" delivered to his home, TMZ reported.
While Sheen appears unrepentant, the ones to suffer his actions will be his co-stars and fans.

Hindus have supported Hollywood diva Pamela Anderson's reported demand of "humane" research methods in India's prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
Anderson wants AIIMS to retire the aging monkeys of its animal facility. In a letter to AIIMS director Professor R.C. Deka, she asked him to send these monkeys to a sanctuary and switch to modern and humane non-animal research and training methods. She pointed out that many of these monkeys had been languishing in cramped and rusty cages for up to 20 years. She also enclosed secretly taped video footage of the facility.
"It broke my heart to see the suffering," Anderson wrote.

Robert Pattinson adopts a rescue dog
Image: Robert PattinsonActor Robert Pattinson has adopted a stray dog to keep him company when his work keeps him away from friends and relatives.
The 24-year-old actor took home the pup after visiting a shelter in Louisiana, where he has been filming The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn. And Pattinson said he is counting on his pet to keep him company, because friends refuse to visit him while he's staying in remote locations, reported Daily Record.
"I know it's sad. A lot of actors have a bunch of people who kind of just go up and stay with them for like two months, like an entourage. But my friends, their egos are too big. They'd be like, 'I'm not part of your entourage. I'll stay in a free hotel for a bit if it's in New York or LA but I'm not going to come out to some random town in the sticks.' "But that's kind of why I adopted the puppy. It's from a shelter and he was going to be put down. I only got him two or three days ago and they only keep them for 10 days," said Pattinson.
The British actor said he has already begun spoiling his canine companion, adding, "He's been freaked out. It's funny. I got a private plane here (to Los Angeles) from Louisiana, where I was filming Twilight, so he came out of the shelter and the next day he's on a private plane. A bit like Lady And The Tramp."

So I got to be wild and crazy, and at the same time I got to be sexy and sweet too," she said.
Lopez also explained what the song means to her, saying she loves it because it reminds her of her younger self striving for success.
