Bollywood loves excitement, confusion, contrasts and surprises. Double roles provide them in abundance. No wonder from Ram Aur Shyam to Rowdy Rathore, the fascination just doesn't end.
Almost every actor loves to portray a dual role at least once in his or her career. And quite a few have made a lasting impression doing just that. Still many more are gearing up to experience the same.
Here's a look at some of Bollywood's exciting double roles to hit screens soon.
Ameesha Patel, Desi Magic
From blink and miss roles in multistarrers to a double role in her newly launched production house, Ameesha Patel sure knows how to give her career a new lease of life.
In her ambitious project, Desi Magic, the Race 2 star plays two very different girls -- Mahi, a sweet, girl-next-door and Sonia, the wild one.
Arjun Kapoor, Aurangzeb

How it used as a tool by the protectors of law to plant the good guy in the bad guy's place and nab crime-based information forms the crux of the plot.
It also introduces Pakistani actress and singer Salma Agha's daughter Sashaa in films.
Katrina Kaif, Seeta Aur Geeta

While the project is still to go on floors, the prospect of two Kats does sound winning, doesn't it?
Saif Ali Khan, Judwaa 2
Image: Saif Ali KhanHimmatwala may have tasted dust but director Sajid Khan, along with producer Sajid Nadiadwala, is slated to reunite with Judwaa 2.
If the film indeed takes off, it's interesting that Saif Ali Khan and not Salman Khan will be reprising the role of unlike twins who can sense each other's pain.
Salman Khan, No Entry Mein Entry

The sequel also retains its leading men Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan in key roles.
Sunny Deol, Bhaiyyaji Superhit

In his long-delayed Bhaiyyaji Superhit, directed by Neeraj Pathak the action hero features in a double role of a UP-based don and a typical Jat with contrasting personalities.
Hrithik Roshan, Krrish 3

And just like the previous installment, which showcases Hrithik Roshan's dramatic prowess as both -- the child-like father and the heroic son, Krrish 3, too, will explore the dynamics of their relationship in the latest.
Kangna Ranaut, Tanu Weds Manu 2
Image: Kangna RanautAnand L Rai's Tanu Weds Manu sequel may have been delayed but it's certainly on the cards.
But what piques our interest is Kangna Ranaut, who made quite an impression as the free-spirited Tanu in one of the better rom-coms of Bollywood in recent times will essay a double role this time.
Shah Rukh Khan, Angoor remake
Image: Shah Rukh KhanRohit Shetty was keen to cast Shah Rukh Khan in Sanjeev Kumar's role for his remake of Gulzar's comic classic. Apparently, the Golmaal director found it too humble a project for his vision and decided to put it on hold and concentrate on Chennai Express instead.
If the Angoor remake does take off, which going by the pressing trend it will, it will be interesting to see SRK revert to his 'Double Shah Rukh. Single Rate. Aao dekho Duplicate' motto.
