Bollywood's celebrities gear up for F1

As India hosts its first Formula One Grand Prix this weekend, B-town celebrities are getting all ready to sizzle at the event.

Gul Panag, who hosted the opening ceremony last night, shared a picture (left) on twitter. 

Ace photographer Atul Kasbekar was present at the event, and tweeted: 'Now hoping to accidentally bump into @GulPanag in this #F1... (If she was a #Lakers #Arsenal #Cricket n #AllBlacks fan, she'd b perfect;-)' he tweeted.

International artists like Lady Gaga, Heavy-metal band Metallica and Boy George will be performing at various parties.

Arshad Warsi hopes to attend the Lady Gaga show. 'Gd mrng ppl of the world... I am in Delhi n I can't make it for the F1, how unfortunate is that. Gonna try n make it 4 d lady Gaga show,' he wrote.

Vishal Dadlani is looking forward to seeing Metallica. 'Pentagram's flying into Delhi just to see Metallica tomorrow. Homage to lotsa metal memories! Dead excited about seeing 'em together! :)' he tweeted.

Vivek Oberoi is going on holiday to a secret place with his wife to celebrate their first wedding anniversary.

'Going off the radar for a little while as my wife and I celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary! See u guys when I get back!' he updated.

Meanwhile, Shahid Kapoor is holidaying in Spain. 'Leaving barca its pouring here poetic justice cause I love this place so much don't wanna go .... Loca people sure know how to party man !!! For all of u party people spain IS THE PLACE TO BE !!!!!!!' he tweeted.

Kunal Kohli is off to Goa to celebrate his birthday. 'Thanx for all the bday wishes, Going to Goa to celebrate my bday & just relax n write, after a hectic Diwali week,' he wrote.

Bipasha Basu had a great Diwali with family and friends. 'I hope all hd an awesome Diwali!I hd such a good time with my family n dearest friends!' she tweeted with the picture (left). 

Shabana Azmi had a good family vacation. 'Its been 3 days of pure family time. Cousins and nephews over from Hyderabad.'Mera bachpan bhi saath ley aaya/ gaon sey jab bhi aa gaya koi,' she wrote.

Dia Mirza celebrated Diwali with family as well. 'Had a wonderful Diwali with family n friends n their kids, light, laughter, song, dance, cards n food! Perfect :)' she tweeted.

Ronit Roy granted bail

Actor Ronit Roy, who was arrested yesterday after his car crashed into another car injuring three of its four occupants, has been granted bail.

The troubled actor said that the incident not only made him stronger but he also knows who his friends are. 

'Thanks a lot for your love and for standing by me in this distressful time. What happened with me yesterday reinforces the fact that "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger". Also now I know who my friends are!! From the bottom of my heart I thank you all for your love and support,' he tweeted.
