SRK snubs Bigg Boss, will appear on KBC

If the buzz is to believed, Shah Rukh Khan was supposed to appear on Bigg Boss 5 as he's good friends with Sanjay Dutt. But rumour has it that Shah Rukh has decided to give Bigg Boss 5 a miss because Salman Khan also appears alongside Dutt on the show.

After promoting his film on reality shows like India's Got Talent, Just Dance and L'il Champs recently, he will be shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati 5 on October 7. 

'Back from another KBC recording .. the simplicity and determination of those that come from lesser means is astonishing. Shah Rukh drops by on set to say Hi ! Will be promoting his film on KBC .. will record with him on 7th !!' Amitabh Bachchan tweeted.

Shah Rukh also spent some quality time with son Aryan.  'had fun time today...hung in a cinthol can...met the ever gracious mr.B.played sum mystery game with aryan & got loads of sweets from London,' he updated.

Another of Shah Rukh's eagerly-awaited film Don 2 looks awesome. Or so believes director Farhan Akhtar.

'Sleep has been playing hide and seek these last few nights. Must be terrible suffering from insomnia! Btw, Don 3D trailer looking awesome! Will now refer to 3D version of Don as D:3D... Like the sound of it,' he tweeted.

Meanwhile, trivia master Boman Irani had a fun fact fromt he film. 'For the record, Don2 is a sync sound film. Dubbing is done only for lines with external sounds that disturb the dialogue..... like birds, cars, honking or a grumbling stomach if lunch break is called late!!!' he wrote.

And another trailer for Ra.One is in the offing too. 'Hope u all have been enjoying all the songs and promos of ra.one! I hear another one will be out soon! :)' Shahana Goswami wrote.

It's a special time for Bachchan family as Aishwarya Rai is expecting a baby. The actress who recently visited the Sidhivinayak temple later accompanied Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan for a Mata Ki Chowki at Sanjay Dutt's residence

Amitabh Bachchan tweeted 'And this morning at the 'ashtami' pooja at Ram Krishna Mission with Jaya and 'bahu'..seeking blessing from Ma Durga .. sublime serene,' .

For Shreya Ghoshal, it's time for work. The singer performed last night at a festival gathering. 'Off to perform at the santacruzpujo. The roads are blocked n jammed. But i m all charged up:):) the vibe this evening is superb!' she wrote.

Shantanu Mukherji too performed in Lokhandwala. 'Will be performing at Lokhandwala Pujo tonight and a Full fledged show in Vaashi tomorrow..Tagore Songs will happen too.. Joy Ma Durga!!!' he updated.

And so did, Abhijeet Sawant. 'Performing at durga puja tonight.. In mumbai.. Kandivli..' he tweeted.

As for Bappi Lahiri and Sujoy Ghosh, they attended the same puja as Rani Mukerji. 'the durga pujo in santacruz is v nice. huge crowd and one mad bappa lahiri running around feeding everybody. really good kid. god bless him,' Sujoy wrote.

Genelia D'Souza and Riteish Deshmukh's wedding rumours are refusing to go away. The actor once again denied the reports that he isn't engaged. 

'Dear Mr (certain) Newspaper, I AM NOT ENGAGED. Your's TRUE-ly Riteish Deshmukh,' he tweeted.

There's also some news from work front too. The shoot for Kya Kool Hai Hum's sequel titled Kya Super Kool Hai Hum will start from tomorrow.

Sonakshi Sinha who was in Paris to attend the Paris Fashion Week tweeted with a picture, "When in Paris, do what the Parisians do! Dressed in Louis Vuitton, Just back from their BRILLIANT show at fashion week!"
