Bollywood pays tribute to Pataudi

Bollywood stars reacted to the sad demise of legendary cricketer Nawab Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi on twitter.

Legendary actor Dev Anand, who couldn't believe the news, shared a picture of them together (left). 'Tiger Pataudi RIP.Just met him in london few years before cant believe he left us my prayers,' he tweeted.

Shah Rukh Khan tweeted: 'passing away of the iconic pataudi sahib made me feel really sad. he had brought so much style & substance to the game.Allah rest his soul.'

Amitabh Bachchan has fond memories of him: 'Sad news .. Tiger Pataudi passes away .. !!! Fond memories of the past with Tiger Pataudi .. his wedding, playing cricket with him, his tabla playing prowess, social evenings. Gave Indian Cricket a 'rockstar' image, with grace and dignity ..soft spoken, quiet straight faced humor and a 'tiger' on the pitch.'

Bipasha Basu tweeted: 'Sad to hear about Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi.RIP.'

Karan Johar wrote: 'Tiger pataudi....all the respect...all the reverance...RIP...condolences to the family.'

Javed Akhtar says he won't forget him: 'Tiger Pataudi was class,dignity& talent personified. Imagine Indian cricket team's captainship at the age of 21. we won't forget you Tiger.'

Mahesh Bhatt tweeted: 'The enchanting cricketing memories of Tiger Pataudi will continue to flicker in our hearts for years to come. Thank you Sir!'

Akshay Kumar was sad to hear the news: 'Just heard about the sad demise of Tiger Pataudi, one of India's finest & youngest captains, a thorough gentleman and leader, extremely sad news. Heartfelt condolences to the family.'

Lata Mangeshkar tweeted her prayers: 'bharat ke ek mahan cricketer nawab pataudi ji ka nidhan hua ye khabar sunke bahot dukh hua, ishwar unki aatma ko shanti de,aur unke pariwaar ko ye dukh seheneka dhairya de yehi meri ishwar se prarthana.'

Mausam finds many fans

Mausam may have got poor reviews but it seems the film has gone down well with the film industry.

Bipasha Basu, who attended with the premiere, tweeted: 'Just saw Mausam is a Beautiful Film.Some scenes are so beautifully done tht u will want to fall in love. Sonam looks picture perfect n Shahid's performance was awesome n he really does justice to the IAF uniform.Wish them the best!'

Hrithik Roshan praised the film: 'Mausam is a film made frm d heart 4 d heart. @shahidkapoor  needs a flaw!perfect combination of strength n sensitivity. Sonam looks ethereal n simply honest! wonderful moments...beautiful journey! Bravo!'

Amrita Rao believes it's Shahid Kapoor's best film: 'Hey twitterati..Mausam is a film of some really lovely moments between th gurl & th boy! ..shot exquisitely & Shahid was at his best!'

Rhea Kapoor is proud of her sister Sonam. 'Just saw mausam, so so proud of @sonamakapoor, she was so good!!! And the movie is epic. And very romantic. :)' she wrote.

It's a boy for Zayed Khan!

It couldn't get any happier for Zayed Khan, whose debut production Love Breakups Zindagi is releasing soon. The actor has become father for the second time.
 
Sister Farah Khan Ali tweeted: 'My Brother Zayed and his wife Malaika had the most beautiful baby boy. God bless them all.'

Dia Mirza is also happy for his colleague. 'Someday's you experience the entire cycle of life. Malaika and Zayed were blessed with the birth of their second child! A beautiful boy:)' she wrote.

Andaz Apna Apna gets animated

While the original director Raj Kumar Santoshi is still struggling to get Aamir Khan and Salman Khan to resolve their tiff and shoot for the sequel of Andaz Apna Apna, producer Siddharth Jain is set to release its animated version.

Delighted with the news, Raveena Tandon who starred in the film, tweeted: 'Just to give ull a lil news!! As ull know the animated version of Andaz Apna Apna is going to be made-called Andaz Naya Naya! heard the story.'

Andaz Naya Naya will be in 3D and stereophonic sound.
