Actress Naomi Watts has undergone a dramatic makeover to play Princess Diana in new movie Caught In Flight.
The 43-year-old star is playing the lead in the film, which tells the story of the last two years in the life of the Princess of Wales, who died in a car crash in Paris in 1997, reported Daily Star.
Watts has had her long locks trimmed into Diana's trademark wavy bob, and in photographs taken on the movie set she can be seen bearing an uncanny resemblance to the royal by adopting her famous doe-eyed facial expression.
The movie is due for release next year.
Katie Holmes says marriage to Tom Cruise 'ended in 2011'

Katie Holmes, who filed for divorce from her husband of five years, Tom Cruise, claims that her marriage was 'irretrievably' broken six months ago and that they've lived in New York for at least the past two years, according to divorce documents.
According to TMZ, the city in which divorce court is based could play a huge role in Holmes' bid to win custody of their six-year-old daughter Suri.
Even though the couple share a Beverly Hills home, the 33-year-old would want to show they've lived in the Big Apple for at least two years as New York family law will give her a better shot at keeping Suri.
Holmes had filed for divorce on Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court, under 'Anonymous v. Anonymous.'
Since filing for divorce, the actress was seen in public for the first time on Monday, sans her wedding ring, looking very happy.
Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis fuel dating rumours

The pair has been close since shooting to fame on hit comedy That 70s Show, and sparked rumours they are dating in
April.
The stars have yet to comment on the speculation, but kept the rumour mill going when they hooked up for a date at Soho House in LA. The pair was snapped cuddling and flirting as they enjoyed drinks, reported Us magazine.
'They were seated on a couch on the same side of the table and Mila was running her hands through Ashton's hair. She had her elbow resting on his back and couldn't stop playing with his hair and rubbing his shoulders. He leaned in and whispered to her and kissed her cheek. They were holding hands,' a source said.
Justin Bieber tipped for Baywatch remake?

Teen pop sensation Justin Bieber has been singled out for the role of Hobie Bunchannon in the Baywatch remake by Jeremy Jackson.
Jackson, who portrayed the character of Bunchannon in the hit TV series, is keen for the Baby hitmaker to take on
the responsibility of reprising the role for a silver screen remake, reported TMZ online.
He said Bieber is the best man for the job and is even willing to train the 18-year-old in the art of lifeguarding for absolutely no cash. All he wants in return is the chance to drive Bieber's tricked-out "Batmobile" Cadillac on the weekends.
The TV drama series originally ran on US TV network NBC from 1989 to 1990, following the lives of a group of fictional
Los Angeles County Lifeguards.
