Bollywood supports Anna Hazare

Social activist Anna Hazare, who is on a hunger strike in New Delhi demanding changes in the anti-corruption Lokpal Bill, is receiving a lot of support from Bollywood.

'I am in complete and absolute support of shri anna hazare ! All those with a conscience and a clean heart speak up ! To distract people from shri anna hazare s purpose there will be a lot of 'other ' seemingly important news in the papers / media...Watch!' Juhi Chawla cautioned.

'That it takes an anna hazare fasting unto death to effect systemic change is comment enough. Corruption part of our dna,' Rahul Bose tweeted.

Director Shekhar Kapur showed his support: 'I support Anna Hazare's fast for national debate on Lokpal Bill. Atleast need Parliament to come out and respond to issue. People like Anna Hazare will force a people's movement against the system. Like Gandhi did against the British.'

Madhur Bhandarkar compared Anna Hazare's fight with Egypt's social revolution. 'Overwhelming momentum generates in for Anna Hazare's fight against corruption. Is India gonna b th next Egypt?' he tweeted.

Ranvir Shorey expressed his views: 'Anna Hazare's crusade is a great litmus test to see if India has any grit left at all. Or have we become a country of corrupt schmoozers... Why can't we make something so obviously in favour of the people, happen? It's the death-grip of politics that has the country pinned down. All political parties should make this Bill an opportunity to show the people that they mean well. 'Cause as a citizen I'm not sure they do.'

Celina Jaitley asked for freedom: 'Is our support to ANNA HAZARE only a retweet ??? Or is there going to be some citizen action?? The thing is that we "have" good leaders .. But they do not have the freedom to the good they are capable of.'

Anupam Kher applauded Anna Hazare: 'When somebody is fighting corruption I don't judge his ways I applaud his intentions and actions. I am with ANNA HAZARE. Are you?'

Sonakshi Sinha officially released the first look of her new film Joker on twitter. Directed by Shirish Kunder, the film also stars Akshay Kumar.

While the first look features quite a few actors, we could not spot Minissha Lamba. We wonder why.

Shahid Kapoor, who attended Eesha Koppikhar's brother-in-law Sanjay Narang party for Sachin Tendulkar, posted a picture of himself with the master batsman.
