PIX: When Priyanka, Bipasha danced for the IPL

The opening ceremony of the Subrata Roy Sahara Stadium in Pune was a grand event on April 8, as Bollywood stars gave a grand performance before the IPL match -- between Pune Warriors and Kings XI Punjab -- started.

Actresses dressed up in traditional wear, and swung their hips to various film songs.

Priyanka Chopra chose a red nine yard Maharashtrian sari for the occasion, and danced to Gun Guna from the film, Agneepath.

Bipasha Basu wore a Bengali look, and danced to Dola re from the film, Devdas.

Sameera Reddy danced to the Tamil song Nakku Mukaa, which was recently used in Vidya Balan's The Dirty Picture.

Neha Dhupia chose a Rajasthani look for her performance, and danced to Subha Mudgal's song, Dholna.

Prachi Desai chose a Gujarati look and danced to Dholi Taro Dhol from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.

Amitabh Bachchan hosted the grand hour-long event, with able company from Mandira Bedi. Sahara head Subrata Roy, who owns the Pune Warriors team, made an appearance at the opening as well.

Other actresses like Preity Zinta, Jacqueline Fernandez and Dia Mirza also performed at the opening ceremony.
