Pati Patni Aur Woh looks like a old wine in a new bottle and though Kartik Aaryan seems to be acing in his home turf, for a change, it would have been nice if the makers had made the film as a intense love story rather than a rom-com.

After delivering two back-to-back hits in the form of Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and Luka Chuppi, Kartik Aaryan is back with yet another rom-com, which looks promising.

This time, it's the remake of the 1978 classic Pati, Patni Aur Woh and co-stars Bhumi Pednekar and Ananya Pandey.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh is about a married man, who falls for another woman and tries his affair under wraps.

The trailer starts off with Abhinav Tyagi (Kartik) giving us a hilarious gist of his life. We are introduced to his patni (Bhumi), who loves sex.

They get married and live happily ever after until Kartik meets his fantasy woman, Tapasya Singh (Ananya).

She is young, she is hot and can easily set your heart aflutter.

Abhinav is immediately drawn to her. He comes up with a fake story of his wife having an affair, so that he can get close to Tapasya.

The two-and-half minute long trailer pretty much sums up what the movie is all about.

Kartik has definitely mastered the rom-com genre and looks entertaining in this one as well.

More than Bhumi and Ananya, it is Kartik with the most dialogues in the trailer and he nails the comic element to perfection.

Aparshakti Khurana is an visual delight too.

His scenes with Kartik are hilarious and they stand out in the trailer.

In fact, I'm looking forward to seeing their bromance.

Bhumi seems confident as well but it’s Ananya who surprises. She makes her presence felt amongst familiar faces and looks stunning.

Her dialogue delivery is solid and she has improved a lot since her first film.

Pati Patni Aur Woh is like a old wine in a new bottle.

Still, it's a treat to watch Kartik with Bhumi, Ananya and Aparshakti.

They bring freshness and a young vibe to the old story.
